Today's KAMIC Group is the result of a 2011 merger between ElektronikGruppen BK AB and the former KAMIC Group.
KAMIC Installation has its primary origin in activities begun in 1983 with the formation of KAMIC Karlstad Automatic AB. KAMIC Karlstad is the original core of the group which since 2001 has grown through the acquisition of other companies and businesses.

KAMIC Karlstad acquired by the Amplex Group. |

Subsidiary KAMIC Shielding (KAMIC Skärmningsteknik AB) merges with KAMIC Karlstad. |

KAMIC Group formed from several companies in the Amplex Group, including KAMIC Karlstad and Microsec AB. New sales office opened in Spånga. Fin-Alert Electronics Oy acquired. |
2003 |
Bromanco Björkgren AB acquired. |
2004 |
Acquisition of Tibe Interconnect AB, Dalma Electronics AB and Juha-Elektro Oy. Divisions of LTG-Keifor also acquired. |
2005 |
Acquisition of Inteno Broadband Technology AB. KAMIC Karlstad establishes a permanent showroom in central Stockholm and expands its offices and warehouses in Karlstad. |
2006 |
Acquisition of Marelco-Vinga AB (subsequently renamed Vinga Ljus AB). The group establishes a sales office in Gothenburg. |
2008 |
Showroom and sales office open in Malmö. |
2010 |
Vinga Ljus legally merges with KAMIC Karlstad. |
2011 |
Following a public offering on the stock exchange, ElektronikGruppen BK AB is acquired, tripling KAMIC Group's size and giving the concern a presence in 11 countries in Northern Europe and Asia. Fredrik Celsing, President and CEO of ElektronikGruppen, becomes President and CEO of the new concern. Business area KAMIC Installation established. |
